Mary, I put in google this accident and came up with a uk newsarticle that this storm was on sat and sun. It ran aground a tug and several barges also. Indian captain missing. So current weather would not be a factor to what happened over the weekend.

It's a strange ballet of vessels as you've noticed.

Sometimes all in port, big fish and small fish, pond skaters and trout. It's a pool of peril right there.

Hi Mary, this sounds suspect to me. My friend works in Abu Dhabi - an hour or so from Dubai and he has said that it is getting colder out there but not gale force winds ??? sounds like a crock to me - Peace :)
