BITW - Chapter 2.12 - The Only Gift

Ehhhkayy (My new favorite word I made up :]) so the name of the title, is from *NSYNC's Christmas Song 'The Only Gift.' Best Christmas song ever in my opinion x]

I really didn't feel like writing a lot more after posting two chapters already, but I wrote this super-short chapter. It's super short if you really think about it.

Anyways... Here's the story!

Lisa opened the door.

"Hey, there you guys are! What took you so long?" She asked.

Startled, they looked at their friend.

"We were just talking," Wendy replied.

-- INSIDE

Everyone was drinking hot chocolate, and sitting in the living room, watching(or listening to, rather) the 'Sounds of the Seasons' channel.

"So.. what did you guys talk about?" Vee asked.

Kevin and Joe looked at Nick with wondering looks.

"Well, we have something to tell you guys..?" Nick started.

Wendy nodded and continued, "Nick asked me to be his girlfriend."

Everyone gasped, or held their breath.

"And I said yes," she finished.

"Awww"
"Yayyy"
"Congrats!"
"It's about time!"[LOL No pun intended XD]

Everyone sort of quieted down after a while of fussing over the two as a couple.

-Say what you need to say, sa-" Kevin's cell went off. He excused himself to go answer it.

On the television, an *NSYNC song started to play.

"Oh my God!" Erin screeched. "I love *NSYNC, I haven't hear them for years!"

"Me too!" Erika agreed. They started to sing along to 'The Only Gift,' which was playing. Tony and Joe rolled their eyes.

Nick and Wendy even started to sing. Nick looked straight into Wendy's eyes when singing.

He finished singing the chorus.

"The only gift I want is you," he whispered into Wendy's ear.
