Use this for for heavy fluorocarbon when other knots are hard to seat this will work every time. do not attach your fly to the end of your fly line! :) Interested in fly fishing for Carp or Carp flies. Visit Missouriflies.com
@t0adman The first image on my site is a bent saltwater hook tied on with a perfection loop. I used to use 20lb mono and a no slip mono knot. try doing that with fluorocarbon ...it will slip out. My hooks bend out before my perfection loop knot does. Its easier to tie and if you have a level 20 lb leader with a tippet attached with perfection loops...mine as well perfection loop the fly too... the knot is smaller .. it's still my knot of choice.
@Missouriflies Thanks. I'm still learning which knots work best with fluoro and I do use the perfection loop. I was just under the impression the knot strength was a bit lower than the no-slip mono. Of course if it slips with fluoro it's useless. All about application I suppose. Good video.
Is it as strong as the no-slip mono knot? Achieves the same result but I think the no-slip mono is stronger.

@t0adman what good is stronger if your knot slips out. mono is one thing Fluorocarbon is another.
