Why is it that vitriol increases with increased objectivity? Comparing one sect of a religion to another causes much less fervor than, say, comparing separate religions. I think crazy religious people KNOW they're crazy. Their attitude deteriorates directly with the level of their shame. I'd be ashamed, and frustrated too, if I had someone telling me how to think, while somewhere, deep inside me, I knew I was being fed a bunch of crap. I couldn't even go to hell, because I'd already be there.:)
