Life After Drinking Killer Chang'aa

Back to a story that has hit the headlines in the past week; over 100 suspected changaa brewers were arraigned in court yesterday following a swoop carried out in Nairobi over the weekend. Meanhile, three people who were taken ill after taking the lethal brew in Shauri Moyo last week are still admitted at the Kenyatta National Hospital. Franklin Macharia reports.

@siasabora siasa I grew up in the midst of changaa brewing and no matter how many people died from the stuff, it did not stop the remaining ones to drink their way to the grave. So I dont even buy the on going onslaught by the police on the changaa dens. This is major TV PR exercise by the police to wash off blame of not doing their job properlyh. It has a become a way too familiar trend by the police to conduct these exercises way after the crime has happened and people died.
