  • Thanks Bert. I've been wondering how you get that effect. That's one of the best Adobe demo sessions I've seen. Love your presentation style. Confident but laid back. A nice change from some of the US based presenters who tend to be a little 'in-your-face'.

  • @ispaniola I think he used 70-200mm ƒ2.8L IS USM.

  • This was very helpful to me. Thank you for taking the time to show this.

  • Like the bokeh :)

What lens and what f stop did you use?..

    Thanks

  • terrific tutorial~!

  • wow this is awesome vid! thanks!!

  • You need a DNG converter. Its free so look it up. When you get it, use it to convert your cr2 files to .dng and then double click on it and they will open up in photoshop while still allowing you the full raw editing capabilities

  • You got to update your software (Adobe Camera Raw, for Photoshop).

  • I can open up mine fine, i just import them. However I had problems opening raw files in Camera Raw/Photoshop.. etc

I had to update my Adobe Raw file..

  • Hi, I'm not totally sure about this but pretty sure. I'm almost certain that photoshop can open .png files and you can free download RAW to .pgn file converter from the adobe website. This is any case is believed to be the best format to archive your photos as it is becoming the standard as opposed to various brand and model raw formats which may become obsolete by being dependent on software that will go out of date running on operating systems that will go out of date.

  • I use PS CS4 and Lightroom 2, i can open the cr2 files from my 50d in both.

If i,m not mistaken you need at least the 2.3 version of lightroom, since that was an update that atleast featured support for the 50d.
