i think the 1972 and the1981 tours have been the rolling stones best tours in their long touring history,i saw them live the first time in chicago in 1975,tour of the americas,and they were great,they rocked chicago stadium.
@TheLIBER777 - The J. Geils Band and George Thorogood supposedly opened for the Stones on October 7, 1981 at Jack Murphy Stadium. But Pat Travers had a hit with, "Boom Boom (Out Go the Lights)" in 1979. Perhaps Pat Travers replaced one of the openers? Anyone who was at that show remember?

J. Geils opened for the Stones on this tour. I saw them at the Seattle Kingdome and later that year in Frankfurt, Germany.
