I saw Freddie in NYC in February of 2009 BB Kings. He was great. I was at a party in New York City New Years Eve 2007 and he was a guest. He was just a regular guy. He loved my girlfriend. We have some pics of him and my girl. I don't think he knew that she was with me.

Yet another soul #1 that couldn't cross over to the Billboard Hot 100. Pity, though. Melba and FREDDIE (right spellin' of his name, by the way) sounded great together, right, gang? God bless!

No Melba and Freddie were good friends she discovered him. Now this sister was big in my day and she let here ex husband he did a job on her she never recovered he was her manger he took everything, even he daughter and left her high and dry. She was broke and homeless she wanted Freddie to leave him and come with her he was locked in contract it was nasty and ugly.
