Solar Tracking System

Here's a quick demonstration of a small program that I wrote to track a light source. The window on the left shows raw video. The window on the right 'draws' a blue circle around the light source. I used a Logitech quickcam and a laser pointer. Sometime soon I would like to adapt this to control a couple of motors that would enable me to keep a solar panel or a parabolic dish aligned with the sun throughout the day.
