the producer is a moron and a liar, this film is nothing like gladiator/300 etc its pure arthouse existentialism. they also falsely marketed this film to try and attract that crowd and justly it has created alot of backlash from people expecting action, blood guts and gore. thats totally not what this is at all, its herzhog meets mallick. marketing is one thing but blatent lias is just terrible.

thing that she say's at the end of the interview, about V.Rising "stand up alongside of 300 and gladiator"...Does she ever actually watched the movie she helped to produce??? Valhalla is diffrent in every way, and it will not have big audience, because it's not a brainless action movie. Forget it woman, and go make spider-man 4 or other shit.

I really liked this movie, but it's not at all what a typical teenage boy would watch. the fight scenes are brutal, but few and far between. the plot build up is slow, but really intense and the cinematography was wonderful. the director himself said he "conceived the film as some sort of acid trip."

@kingofqwerty. Well, if that's what she wanted to acomplish...:) But still, the talking of blood and gore that should appeal to mass market and 20-year old boys...it's just so ridiculous after watching the movie.
