@mheedlheen how is this much different then boxing where a win can be determined by the judges,
if fighters stay in a clinch too long the ref pulls them apart,
only difference is here they break after each point,
guys still get knocked out and injured doing this stuff.
I personally hospitalized a guy in a kumite point tournament.
punched him in the throat.

@Azcoustic thanks mate, yeah, its just destroying the point of semi contact, why the sport is becoming more unpopular and the standard of fighters is not what it should be, bring back the old school!!!

@MickeyLightnin It never used to, since WAKO joined with IAKSA they took that rule on. It looks awful I agree.
