In this video Corporal Roger Peters learns the meaning of freedom after meeting a group of freed concentration camp survivors on the road outside of the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp.

An estimated 50,000 prisoners died there, with 35,000 of them dying in the three months before the camp was liberated.

  • Sad very sad. But what of the killing and suffering now going on in Iraq, thanks to the lies of neo-cons and AIPAC and Paul Wolfowitz? Also God bless "the greatest generation, they defeated the war machines of Germany and Japan, and did not resort to torture like chicken hawks GW Bush and Cheney have done (unsuccessfully I might add).
