Whats wrong with fancy costumes and lights. David Bowie had crazy costumes and he lit up the stage, same with queen. You put on a good appearance, show the audience a good experience to what they payed for. I can dig this band though.

My god the Pixies were amazing. I thought so 20 years ago, I do so now. They started 'grunge' if you wish.
