Even though Im Asian.. and i was born in Germany... I Still Give my Prayers and Thanks... To The U.S Military service men and women... They deserve Luck, Life and A Clear Blue sky... But as of now they are giving it Back to Us To Enjoy.. While they Fight and Die in honor For us To Live Freely and In Peace... They Gave up Their Luck, Life and The Clear Blue sky... For Us... And i just wanna say..

Gilstrap was my good friend. I was in 2nd Platoon C. Co and when I got here he got busted down for doing something stupid ha ha. Thats hilarious. God speed 101st. We kick ass.

@cocomaan Not really. 400k who were against the Americans at the time, but many were not insurgents. So their job was to defeat the armed enemy and turn the unarmed enemy- such as the ones who just give tips to insurgents- into friends. Which requires discrimination. This is what they did with the Sunni Awakening and it was quite successful.

amazing the 506th is the same regiment who liberated France and captured Hitler's Eagle's Nest in WWII. proud history. although I suspect they carry their own PR team to write history the way the US Army wants it written

I was actually stationed in Baghdad and it was hard to get out to cover them. I can't say the PR was too hot. They had to put their resources in other directions.
