what game is that?

If theire was a mix of GeoMod (from Red Faction:guerrila... or the next one, Armagedon) and PhysX... it would be SO AWESOME.
-
@dsi24 I didn't say physics are a gimmick, I said PhysX is a gimmick...You clearly misread my post dude.

@angleisthebest If physics is a gimmick so is sound and visuals.
-
@lVleSHuGGA Well I still stand by what I said. PhysX is a crappy gimmick, merely adding a handful (1 or 2) of dynamically rendered objects to the same pre-rendered room to choke a useless low profile card...I've seen those Batman AA PhysX videos, complete and utter crap. Physics cards were a viable option when dual cores just came about but now? With 6 core CPUs already out and 8 core CPUs on the way next year? Give me a fucking break, PhysX is a joke.

@angleisthebest i think its actually pretty sweet but also again i got a 5870 and a GT 240 for dedicated physX
-
PhysX = worst and the biggest gimmick in the history of PC gaming.
-
tone doun the fucking presentation software retard had to sit threw 3 minuts of bull shit!
-
nah its just a failure in the game becouse they wanted physx a little too bad
-
yeah i was wondering about that too
think it could be shopped?
this card will give you nothing.. your pc is to old and too weak to handle any of the new games with or without PhysX accelerator... consider to buy a core2duo processor 2 Gb of ram and a Geforce 8 or 9 series GPU which actually has a physx processor built in and since yesterday Physx drivers are out for geforce G92 based gpu`s...

It will raise your framerate.
Your CPU or GPU won't have to compute the phisics-calculations.
Though it is indeed mainly meant for eyecandy.
But I think the eyecandy is pretty impressive.
Too bad there aren't too many games that can actually use the card, though some very popular ones can (like Rainbow Six Vegas), so you won't buy it for nothing.
And such a nice system indeed can't do the same without PhysX. 8800GTX's don't have a real built-in PPU. They just put a "CUBA-code" in the driver.
