The video is about the most significant steps in 2011 of my performing a_round the Ballad of Dario Della Rossa,
It' a TRIP_tych a_long LONDON, Hillside Gardens, in April, PALMANOVA, Napoleonic powder-magazine in May to end with PARIS, Cimetière du Père-Lachaise in July.
It all started on the 11th of April '11, in London, with the impromptu performance for oneoclockclub (filmed by Dawn Redwood) that was a prologue.
Central part is "Ballata delle foglie perdute" that was performed in the star-shaped-city of Palmanova (Udine), in the installation of "Arte per l'ambiente" (A. Rusin) to be precise. There the 'proper' Ballata was felt/heard/performed for the first time, on May 7th. Video was taken from a fixed point, on a tripod that was standing exactly in the center of a wooden model of Palmanova. It was like practicing with a caressing ray of light searching inside of me.
The Finale in Paris, occurred on July 14th, with "Temps ETErnel", in the well known cemetery of Père-Lachaise. The annual commemoration of the death of Raymond Roussel (curated by G. Broi), this year called -"Quintessence grise"- was taking place. Outside again, in the open air, it was my first time (in art) in Paris and I felt how life and death can be so stricltly connected and how much 'life' it can be in a graveyard. There I am performing on Tombeau Guérinot, division 55.

The video is totally "Handmade", the first time I use the new WMM, without spending too much time editing and so....better to go out for a walk!
