Why is everyone in the vaults always dead? Shouldn't they be safe?

Take all the vault jumpsuits you can sell them to the check in vaut 21.

@nathoni89 you see some vaults apear to do some experiments like in this one judging they did some studies with palntlife or something and it backfired and it became infested with mutated plat creatures or something

@ninjassaisin2 actually your character is born in the jefferson memorial, you can actually find the room were your character was born in-game

@classroomdj In Fallout 3. Your character was not born in a vault. He/she was born in Rivet City, under the care of Doctor Madison Li. The Brotherhood of Steel accomponiied your father to Vault 101 after your mother died.

@Reconciliatification I know one was set to fail purposefully in Fallout 3, Vault-Tec computer said it was something like, Super Mutant Invasion testing? Vault 88, The Geck.
