  • which machine did you use in this surgery? What parameters did you use?

  • @jomaessa

It was the AMO whitstar. I don't have the parameters. Sorry.

  • great technique, please let me know which secondary instrument do you use

    Diego Mejia,MD

    Honduras,CA

  • It is a medium side horizontal chopper. I'd like to use a longer one, but we did not have one. For such a hard cataract, we should use longest chopper to be able to cut the touch back of the nucleus.

  • What does the "VB H5" stand for?

  • Vb=VisionBlue (Trypan Blue), H5=Haelon 5.

  • @LuckyIzzy659 the cataract will not come back as it is an artificial lens that is installed after the clouded one is removed. there are several different methods of cataract removal, although this one is most common, as it is very fast, and not terribly invasive.

  • @damg2762 how are cataract's formed?

  • oh wow. So, does the cateract ever come back? Does anybody with cateracts have this surgery?

  • wtf

  • still some q. about j cannula , others excellent

  • What the hell?
