I read this book several years ago. Loved the book. I went to see the movie today. It was sooooo good!!!!

@wendyennaomi, they used a real victim of the round ups to base the story I think (not sure). But, the point is that this French participation in the Holocaust was seldom made into films, which I think is more important even.

I learned a lot by reading this book, I just cannot let it down, few pages and i will be done. A must to read.

we read your book and cried and remembered. we survived as hidden children in france. betrayed by our own countrymen.my extended family father, brother and aunts and uncles perished in Auschwitz. thank you for writing the book and telling about the french police;s complicity in the atrocities.. we are anxious to see the movie.

That movie was so good! best movie I seen in ages! I didnt even know the French did the same thing to the jewish ppl that the germans did ..and here the Germans the most vicious of mankind for YEARS after Hitler

Stayed up late reading this book...had to know what heppened to the children, the families...it was wonderful and devastating. Son incroyable!

Hi Tatiana, Please make the movie, i just finished reading your book Sarah`s Key . I am a film maker from the third world, Chile and I would love to make the movie I was imagining while I read, directing every scene in the book, the music, costumes, actors, scenery, etc-
