That might be so but where do you get off stealing another bands name?
What the difference is "The Harmonicats" vrs "Harmonicats"?
Rather then stealing another bands name, why not make your own name for your self?

These are not the original Harmonicats!
Al Fiore. Don Les and Jerry Murad were the original men that recorded Peg of My Heart! My dad was Al!
Thank you...

I'm with Al's son also. Dick Gardner is my uncle and we saw The Harmonicats many times growing up and still see my uncle often. A fake is a fake!!

It's not "philosophical"
It's a clear cut case of someone stealing a band's name and trying to live off of someone eases fame and reputation.
Thing is, I've been a fan of the real Harmonicats basically all my life.
Take your favorite band, then imagine someone else takes their name.
The real thing, is the real thing.
A fake is a fake.

@bowserandblue Hi George... Many people remember the "original" Harmonicats and consider anyone else as imposters who might DARE to use the name. The facts are that ALL the "original" Harmonicats have passed away. Dick Gardner, my dear friend, performed with Jerry and Al for 22 years after Don left the trio, but he was NOT an "original". Also, several other players performed with Jerry, Al or Don through the years. After Jerry passed away, Mo Vint trademarked the name, so he now legally owns it.

Just awesome, I LOVE it.

if its not the real harmonicats its not good. I know one of the real cats Dick Gardner and he was saying that some fools took their name.

I'm with Al's son on this. The real Harmonicats was with Jerry Murad. Al Fiore is my all time favorite cord player. My dad played with a harmonica trio in St. Louis for many years and was good friends with Al. We're Italian and Al would always crack some good Italian humor. These guys should change their names. Rediculous. They may be good, but not great like the real Harmonicats.

damn.. i was sure atleast one of them was gonna faint
The question of who the true Harmonicats are might be a philosophical conundrum that will plague humanity for centuries to come. But just listen to these guys play and enjoy it. There are not many people left who can still do this. I believe that is the important thing.
