In the film Pirates of Silicon Valley, founders of Apple Computer, Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak take their Apple 1 computer to the local Homebrew Computer Club at Berkely, and make an impression.

Pirates of Silicon Valley is a made-for-TV motion picture made in 1998 telling the story of Bill Gates and Steve Jobs rise to fame in Microsoft and Apple, respectively.

    i dont get it though - whar did these computers actually do in the early days? did they word process? or play games? what?? (as were there even printers then) because i dont get why people would even buy them except for maybe.. you know as a gadget or something

    thats because they were.

    Steve Jobs especially... he lived on communes and traveled India for soul searching. he also tripped LSD multiple times and said it was one of the 2 best things that he ever did. read his wiki page it has the interview where he said that.
