The bonus round, very simple. Just light all 6 numbers (light the last one naturally), and win $10,000. Can the winner of the unsold pilot win it? *Credits missing*

*High Rollers would really return in 1987 with host Wink Martindale. Jeryl Thompson, a contestant in this pilot episode of Lucky Numbers, also appeared on All-Star Blitz and the Rafferty-era of Blockbusters.*

  • This is a Pilot show! No money or prizes are given away! This allows the producers to edit the show so there are big winners! He might have rolled the dice 20 times to get the rolls that they needed for him to win the $10,000! They edited out the bad rolls and kept in the good rolls to have an exciting big win!-----Excitement is needed to sell the show to the network!

  • @Dodgerfn5 The "contestants" are actors who are paid by the production staff to appear. Nothing on the show with regards to prizes is real.

  • that's the same theme music later used in Wink Martindale's High Rollers

  • Prizes aren't given away in pilots, I believe, in general. The contestant are often actors or contestants who have been on other shows and have impressed a producer, or are not eligible due to being on a recent show.

  • I never seen this game show before. It sounds easy to play.

  • Something I'm wondering, have you ever noticed that "pilots" always have the contestant winning the biggest prize available? To me, it sounds like it is rigged although you clearly see Jeryl rolling the dice every time. Coincidence, I don't think so. What do you guys think?

  • Has the feeling of ever changing rules. And the other issue is that theoretically the game could go on forever. Literally. Some sort of limit (such as the 7/10 spin rule on Bullseye) should've been added

  • Thank you for posting :)

  • That's the same dice, High Rollers used in the early versions.

  • i love the look of the dice table though. that's all i gotta say
