This camera is great outdoor with lots of natural lights, but when you go indoors that's where the grain and the low lights problems comes in.
For indoor you need a lot of lighting up.
All in all a brilliant camera!

What shutter speed did you use for the bees? Also, what were the other settings? I've been having 'motion' problems with my HV40.

I am absolutely stunned by the picture quality. I have been looking to find a great camcorder to shoot videos, but have no idea which one is the best for a amateur. Can you please let me know how much you purchased your canon vixia hv40 for? and from where?

@CarrotsAndPeas I went to the Apple Store and they gave me the correct cable. It works fine, now. Go to the APPLE store. They can help you. The newer Macs are a bit different. I have an IMAC.....Hope this helps.

No it does not, it uses mini-DV (standard or HDV) tapes
