Rotarded, to be actively associated with rotards. From "rotard" (noun) Derived from the Latin "wankelous abnormalis". A person so absorbed with the holiness of the rotary engine as to block out any other form of internal combustion engine as unfit and unworthy of installation in a chassis that had a rotary engine from the factory. " I think I'll replace the blown rotary in my RX7 again"

@funkjaw Meh....let them have the stereotype. I enjoy it. I think it's hilarious sometimes. It makes you feel kinda smart when you're listening to people just repeating what they've heard from the internet without actually knowing anything about the engines.
A lot of bad owners are to blame for the bad rap rotaries get as well unfortunately.

@mayhamfx Yeah, some people take it too seriously. I've been daily driving the crap out of my RX7 for 6 years with 380-430whp for 5 of those years. I'm well aware of how I built the engine, how to take car of it, and as a result the last 110,000 miles I've put on the car since I built this engine have been perfectly fine even with several track days in between.
I actually enjoy the stereotype myself. I was actually thinking of getting a custom plate that says "rotard" or something similar.

50 years from now if there's a clip of George Bush looking like an idiot......... Nevermind, it's humor, kind of hard to explain to some people. But a quick glance around youtube show that close to 10 million people have viewed Hitler parodies, no word on how many were Jewish. If I were Jewish I'd kind of like it that people are making fun of Hitler, making him look crazy and stupid.
