  • I just froze the frame and it was the wrong year. Thanks for the reply. Nothing like going down memory lane. Thanks for you video.

  • @navajopa31 you're welcome.. thank you for watching it!

  • I wish I could see the frame with the side view of the 1966 red pontiac convertable. I believe that is my car with me driving. They made less than 400 of that model. The frame is shown in the still for this video.

  • @navajopa31 send me your email in a private message and i'll send you screen caps!

  • Great memories and Boards of Canada, too!

  • @stearn56 yeah! not sure if you made the connection but the BOC song is titled "Left Side Drive"

  • The first part of this video was shot in front of 929 W. Grace which is now a restaurant/venue/arcade where I work security. That block hasn't changed much but the 800 and 1000 blocks have all but been demolished and turned into parking lots for VCU. What a bummer. Great footage of the place I now call home.

  • I have been waiting for the day to come across an RVA vintage video with subtle music undertow. Thank you so much for digitaly recording an film, great cropping et'al'

  • VA .... what a great kick ass state.

  • Thank you for posting this! Loved seeing things that are long vanished: C&P Telephone, big Detroit cars and the Morriss house at 3:10 into the clip. As an aside, I worked in the Pollak Building (Fashion Design) in '77 and was hoping to see it too.

  • It's kind of crazy how VCU condemned lots of those townhomes
