We had such expectations, we would soon be giving birth
To the next Chopin, the next Einstein, the greatest child on earth

We'd never have a challenge or a problem, God forbid

Wow, many years ago Karen Taylor-Good wrote "Precious Child" which I identified with after my first child died. My second child has multiple disabilities and now another song comes from her that sings to me.
