  • I love the turbo charged seneca, flown the non-turbo charged too but i think the air ambulance should at least use a single turbine aircraft for safety.

    I've never even seen a turbo-charged seneca :) Using SETs would be nice - just flown in a rather nice PC-12, but the CAA won't allow single-engine operation for medical flights :(

  • In air ambulance configuration, they can be a bit cramped if the pax has more than one bag, but they're still a lot of fun to fly in :-)

  • well, i have got hours on the turbo-charged seneca V and in Australia the Royal Flying doctor services use some of the PC12, because it's turbo-prop which is seem to be more reliable than the aspirated engines.
