REWARD

This is my second year short film, for the animation department at the School of Visual Arts.

It took about 5 months to make including storyboarding.
It was all drawn and animated in Photoshop and composited with Adobe After Effects (the 3D buildings were drawn in photoshop, and constructed in After Effects using z-space)

I have not submitted my film to any festivals so i'm kind of confused by this..!

Questions arise.... 1. If they're both criminals, how is it supposed to make sense that they'd hunt each other since anyway they both end up jailed if they go to the police office? 2. If they're in jail, how did they manage to have such big sacks of money with them? I know it's the reward but it doesn't make much sense. XD 3. The animations are way too slow and they walk in an awkward way. Was it intentional?

I'm giving this 3 stars. You've done an awesome job. I like the blackhaired one.

I do know the walk cycles are bad, I didn't have time to fix it before it was due, and... well, it was time to be done with this project.

The rest of your questions I considered while making it, but it's just a silly short cartoon. the critiques I received from my professors understood the story just fine being slapstick and ridiculous, so please use your imagination!

Well, by "the animations are too slow" I mean.... that the animations are too slow. XD I mean all the movements of the characters are as if they're slowed down, such as if someone run the movie with a 0.8x speed. That's just my personal impression of course.

That's really strange, with the exception of the intro, I see a lot of the scenes as going by very fast, that's why I asked. I was wondering if there's something wrong with the upload, but lol, nevermind.

That was...pretty cool :) I wondered what it would have bee like if there had been any talking in it, but then that might have ruined it; sometimes all you need is a good soundtrack (good choice on that one btw). Wouldnt mind seeing more of those two, made me laugh.
