when I was younger I went into a gallery with Francis bacon paintings and I just stood there in terror for about 10 mins. I had never seen work like that before.Freaked me out.

Many years ago I was reading and learning everything I could about Bacon an artist who's life and work intrigued me. I had the opportunity to see some of his most famous work which is on permanent display in the Tate Modern in London. It was an awesome experience for me so surreal standing there in front of the larger than life canvases I had seen so many times in books and online.. you really appreciate the work and the boldness of the colour when you see it infront of you.
