Adult Females Relaxing in Coastal Surf

Watch these newly molted adult females, pregnant again, relaxing in the coastal surf...some lazing around, some attacking seaweed, some slowly twirling...and hear some young males uttering non-threatening barking sounds off camera.

Very nice.  I was just there 4/30 and there were very few ladies in the water. Of course it was quite chilly that day.

@NorcoKris Hope you had a good time, though ! I've never actually seen females acting like this ! Usually, it's the males that hang out in the water ! Most interesting behavior....but this year has been different.

@esealinfo4u Oh always... always have a great time when I visit. There were SO MANY ESeals! And yes I usually see the young males hanging out in the water. There may have been some females in the water when I was there but I assumed they were young males. And it wasn't so many or at that very nice overlook.
