I'm sorry what? The aluminium industry is the only substantive thing Dubai has. It's airlines were recently made into what it is today, and exists solely to encourage tourism.

Please name a single solid example of a Dubai export other than it's aluminium, which is a tiny fraction of it's total expenditure. Oh right you can't, which is why you didn't mention a single one in your post.
