@PepeRockola, I was more referring to Doug Richards and his sarcastic piece (so much of his stuff is sarcastic). I don't know how he gets away with it.
But as to what you did in '96, that's cool. I didn't participate myself because I wasn't driving yet and my parents thought it was crassly commercial. It didn't help that my pops got fired from some baseball related position for (I kid you not) not cutting his hair. He held it personally against the Olympics so none of us got to go.

@itpduder Well, I understand the feeling, Yeah, we slapped their hands and called them champs, but we basically tried to motivate the people into enjoying themselves, in a healthy, homely environment.

I worked here, at Olympic City, in Atlanta, during the Olympics, in a Human Relations position. We were hired to keep the people entertained.
There were more performances, activities, exhibits and events, than this video covers. Things were not unreasonably priced, and remember, Atlanta is home to Coca Cola.

My dad worked in the reebok area were you could time videos of athletes or something like that. I got VIP access too.
