i cnt c what the difference between this dance n the 1 they did in the final is, but, yet, they got a much lower score in this dance than they did in the final- unfair judges

@Beatleschick1 : rachel had an excellent partner. look at the end of her jive performance in round 7 ( i guess it was 7). she was verry stiff at the end. even if it was a great dancing, her partner was a great help. i know it, because i, myself , do ballroom and having a good partner such as vincent is three quaters of your posture! although i have to say, their quickstep was outrageous!
but it´s harder for tom, because he has to be the strong part and he is not "carried" by s.o. else. :-)

I loved him on Strictly, SO glad he won, totally deserved it, I saw this dance at the Live Tour and he was EVEN BETTER!

Not quite. The people enjoyed watching Tom dance. They didn't mind that he made a tiny slip in his foxtrot. End of. Sorry if you didn't like him winning but let's be real, it happened because the judges blatantly promoted Lisa and Rachel at the expense of the others. THAT tarnished what should have been a great series. Sergeant-gate set the tone and as soon as Austin Healy went out, it was obvious that the public would back Tom - and if you don't like that, blame the judges.

yea.. whatever, just tom was popular, and was voted for however good or bad he did. fair enough part reality part dance.. but people who voted for tom were clearly not thinking about dance at all...comes last in the final... messes up his fox trot... does a good showdance because clever camilla used his acting skills... but he's not that great and undoubtedly the worst ever strictly winner... was such a shame that such a great series had to end in unfortunate way. .

Er - no. It's part dancing competition, part reality show. Always has been, always will be. It isn't about technical perfection and nothing else. It's as much about whether the audience like the contestants as it is about the dancing. Rachel didn't engage with the majority of voters - that's why she ended up in the bottom two several times. Tom, whom the public preferred, never did - and so, unsurprisingly, he won.

er jacqueline...it's a dancing contest dearest.
