Legendary self titled track by Venom which was only ever rarely played live until it was finally recorded in the studio in 1996.

This is a live bootleg recording of Venom's first gig in the USA at the Paramount Theater, New York on the 22nd April 1983. This was one of two gigs played at the Paramount, the second being played on the Sunday 24th which was an all round better show. During the gig on the 24th, a pyro bomb misfired, blowing a hole in the stage. This later resulted in a series of gigs booked by the band Manowar to be cancelled.

  • Great upload! The only record this was ever released was the "Live from Chicago" 7" bootleg. This one appears to be another recording, as you mention in the comments. It's the first time I hear this, I didn't know there was such a recording, great work
