@katlenning I have the facts
It's unlikely he's experienced with forklifts when his fork where that far off the ground
also he had a load in front of him... so why is he going forward? if that Pick up truck hadn't moved when it did....
I think I call him stupid, send him to the frontline in that forklift!
he may kill the enemies and not innocents with that thing.

how about getting a few fat yanks to sit of the back that would solve the problem
-
@151CHAVIN How comes they can drive big tanks but can't drive a forklift?
-
That was funny when the guy peeled out in the truck and the guy with the camera is like, "C'mon dude."
-
wow so many arse holes commenting. Lifting the load was the correct thing to do under the circumstances. No he couldnt get a bigger fork lift cause THATS ALL THEY HAD TO WORK WITH. Its called improvising. US army and British army do outstanding work with (especially the brits) shit kit. I salute you all.

really??? u.s army can handle a little old forklift god noes what there like when they have to go to war?? just as clumsey as this divvy... end of the day this is really unsafe was top much weight for the terain and there were people that could of got hurt or evenb killed hope they banded this idiot from touching heavy machinery ??

Wow - responses from people who know nothing about the driver. 1st, he IS experienced with forklifts, & extremely safe - if you knew him, you'd know. 2nd, those guys were working with what little they had & following orders (even stupid ones) - it's the Army, you don't get to tell your boss that you're not doing it - they'll just tell you to get the job done. I know for a fact that was the case for this guy. Easy to sit back, judge & call him stupid when you don't have all the facts.
if lower the forks... the center of gravity will make the forklift even tilted more....raising up the load will actually shift the center of gravity and make the other 2 wheels touch down..... like I said, they had to do what they had to do with what they got.

Alright, Maybe I should actually make things more clear.
The equipment wasn't really the US Army, it belongs to the Iraqi Army, It was in an Iraqi base. The soldier in the forklift is the most responsible, hard-working, nicest guy I have ever met in my life. We were a bunch of soldiers that sent to an Iraqi base to help out their military and we have to work with what we have at that time.
