Mimi (means honey, honey) was a 36 weeks fetus when being born. Like most preterm babies, she did not suck well and lost almost one pound in 3 days. In the video, Dady is burping Mimi at the 1st night of her home coming.

Iam 36 weeks preg and doc told at my 34 weeks scan that it's IUGR baby and not getting enough nutrients from my placenta and so not gaining avg weight. He is too small for gastational age.they have planned to deliver early if still it's the same in nxt scan that on wed.iam bit worried. It's only 4 lbs 6 oz at 34 weeks.

Your reply will be a sort of strength for me really .

    Regards

    Ash

  • @ashugl1980

She was 6lbs 5 oz but dropped to 5 lbs 7 oz in a week. We had to force feeding her. She gained weight since then.

  • Soooooooo cute!!!! What were yall saying?

  • I Understand How That Feels My Son Was Born At 35 Weeks...

  • Excuse me, but I forgot to mention:

This is probably because you did not reach the healthy "ideal" weight for a newborn, which is 6 to 9 pounds. Anything above or below than this is "postterm" or "preterm."

  • @anatheistmyself

That's not entirely true. I was born in 1990 (20th century) at 35 weeks, and I was labeled "preterm". The time that determines "term" or "preterm" is changing as our knowledge of pregnancy and child development is changing. In the 1950's, scientists thought a frigid mother was what caused schizophrenia (not true). In the 1990's, they thought boys playing with dolls would make them gay (not true). Science is constantly changing things. It's not "unstable" or "distorted".

  • My friend's son, Jesse, was born at 36 weeks.

    He was labeled "preterm."

Reality is this: he is completely developed, healthy, and "ready" to survive in the human world.

In the 1980's (20th Century) 36 weeks was called: "term birth."

Now, in the 21st Century, 36 weeks is called: "preterm."

This shows how human minds are constantly changing in ways which are unstable and distorted!!!

    :D

  • @trilogy11 hello?? thats the purpose of subtitles. the audio is in a different languae therefore the subtitles were added so that English speaking people could know what they are saying duh.
