A short video taken on Monday 31st May 2010 showing various scenes of the Bluebell Steam Railway in East Sussex. The three steam locomotives in operation are; 0-6-2T LBSCR Billinton Radial Tank Class E4 (once Birch Grove) in Southern livery built in 1898, 2-6-4T BR Standard Tank Class 4 number 80151 built in 1957 and the 0-6-0 SECR Wainwright goods Class C number 592 built in 1902. For further details on this railway please visit the following; http://www.bluebell-railway.co.uk/
Thanks for the comment. Checked on the Bluebell Railway website and it says that the first loco is an E4. Sorry not familiar with an E1 but guess it must be very similar. It appears this 0-6-2T was however built at the Brighton Works in 1898 and went into service with the LBSCR as "Birch Grove". The other three steam locomotives in operation are; 2-6-4T BR Standard Tank Class 4 number 80151 built in 1957 and the 0-6-0 SECR Wainwright goods Class C number 592 built in 1902.
