Need to record geotag information together with your images? Geotags record the Longitude and Latitude along with other important information such as compass heading and elevation. Rio Photography offers geotagging abilities by use of high end GPS units.

If your construction company is involved in the construction of homes or commercial properties, then you know how important it is to create visual documentation of your entire projects for inventory and marketing purposes. In addition, the visual evidence showing the work was done correct to code.

Construction photography at times can be very challenging. Lighting conditions indoors at times can be very difficult requiring a skilled photographer with a fast lens and good strobe lighting equipment. A great wide angle lens is also a must for interiors where there is very little room to maneuver or for exterior shots of a building where you you need the location in the entire shot. Candid shots work just fine for documentation but these will not suit your marketing needs.

The photography representing your companys skills and expertise have to be as technically accurate and impressive as the work you are bidding on. A well structured web site with lots of great construction photography will go a long ways in selling your company and service.

Its always a good idea to document a job site in various ways. Interior and exterior of the location, shots of your equipment being used or your work being implemented along with shots of your workforce doing their thing. I have several years of experience working on construction job sites and Im not afraid to get a little dirty! Always keeping safety in mind, I wont hesitate to get filthy or climb on some gear to get the shot.

As an experienced Orange County construction photographer, I carefully plan out every shot and location prior to the day of shooting. I'll speak with you, the client, over the phone prior to the shoot to go over what you need the images to "say" and what challenges we might face on the job location. Of course, I'll add my ideas, in-site and experience to help guide you through the process.
