India is wherever I am

I am a brasilian photographer in love with cultural diversity of India and its ancient and contemporary contrasts. I've never been to India personally, but my trip to India over the internet is old, more than four years do I walk all the virtual paths in search to know the ancient and modern history of this amazing country. I developed the project "India in my eyes" is planning a documentary photography (Book and exposure) whose goal is to photograph the everyday life of India, the streets, the city, the people, culture, colors and all that is modern and traditional the teeming India inspire me. Everything with my eyes, and to make the project more interactive and collaborative, invite Indian photographers that I met on the Internet for shooting with me and confront the two eyes.

Then I created a blog and a page on Facebook: Link Brazil to India to communicate and interact with the various people I met during the research
and also to serve as a greater connection between the two cultures Brazil and India..

That's how I see India where I am, here in Brazil

I decided to place this video in the contest "Is India", in category: India is wherever I am, "because I think it is a form of more people know of my independent project I win or not.

India é onde quer que eu esteja - daqui do Brasil, é assim que eu imagino que é a India .

Eu sou uma fotógrafa brasileira apaixonada pela diversidade cultural da India e seus contrastes ancestrais e contemporaneos. Eu nunca fui á India pessoalmente, mas a minha viagem á India através da internet é antiga, fazem mais de quatro anos que eu percorro todos os caminhos virtuais em busca de conhecer a historia moderna e milenar desse incrivel país. Desenvolvi o projeto "India nos meus olhos": que pretende realizar um documentario fotográfico (Livro e exposição) cujo objetivo é fotografar o cotidiano indiano, as ruas, a cidade, o povo, sua cultura, as cores e tudo que é moderno e tradicional que a fervilhante India me inspirar. Tudo com o meu olhar, e para tornar o projeto mais interativo e colaborativo, convidarei fotografos indianos que eu conheci na internet para fotografar junto comigo e confrontar os dois olhares. Por enquanto tudo não passa de um sonho, mas estou trabalhando para realiza-lo.

Criei um blog e uma pagina no Facebook: India Link Brasil para divulgar o projeto, me comunicar e interagir com as diversas pessoas que eu conheci durante a pesquisa e tambem para aproximar as duas culturas (Brasil e India).

É assim que eu vejo a India de onde eu estou, daqui do Brasil

Resolvi inscrever esse video no concurso "India Is" , na categoria: India is wherever I am", porque penso que será uma forma de mais pessoas saberem do meu projeto independente de ganhar ou não.
