dude u have to play the other disc's hopefully if no1 ruined the story for you, you can see how greatly the game changes from mercenary commando guy to pychopathic ruler trying to end the world

i agree. 7 is waaay too overrated. it has no story at all. all it is is just a spikey haired mercenary sent to kill shinra and rule it for hismelf (only had disc 1 but im sure thats the story)

I think VIII and IX were a lot better then VII imo. Better story and better characters.

dont forget VIII had way better dialouge, like
"UP yours!"
and Squall saying "!!!" to Rinoa (imo, he said FUCK YOU, but they couldnt leave that in there)
