You might not be able to recreate the authentic film look and so far I agree with you - Everything is digital, why act like it's not. But if you find some color composition in the older film look that you enjoy and helps you emphasize your point - Why not?

if you can't afford the real thing:Film: than leave it . It is pointless trying to create a "film look. " It is what the industry is trying to fool, the young film makers and audiences. Nothing will recreate film .Not red or any other digital gismo.Never ever the warmth of a celluloid.It is a whole different cake . 35mm ,70 mm compared to the plastic 2ks, 4ks some day even 10ks of the varicams and the reds .The is no end their digital rubbish.

files then oprn it up in vegas

Night time effectw as the best.
I just had finished downloaded the magic bullet. but the problem, there is a red X mark in the footage. can you help me about it?
