Togo lead Seppala across the froze Bearing Straight cutting a full day of the Serum Run. Balto ran the last 55 miles Gunnar Kaasen through a blinding blizzard all by smelling the trail!!
Balto, Togo, Blackie, Fritz were ALL heros.
There record still stands and will never be broken as there is no need to push dogs that hard.

Togo just went further in my opinion because I think the obsticles balto faced were much more dangerous and difficult to overcome

@MrY2KWA Have you read up on what they actually went through? Togo led his team the furthest distance of any dog that ran the relay, and through a white-out. Balto was only put on to lead the last distance because Togo was exhausted from what he'd already been through. They were all amazing, no mistake, but Togo did go through more.
