High could mean anything 232198745, your point about Alex is mildly irrelevant as Leisure was there first album so any song about drugs on the album would be about experiences before their time in the band. Personally form the song lyrics I would say it is a song is about one of two things being high while having sex with a woman, or a case of unrequitted love. If i was a guessing man i would probs back the drugs option for no other reson than the era this song was released, probs ecstasy
