my dad first got deployed about 10 years ago..

i was in 3rd going into 4th grade. When i first heard this song i

thought of my life and how i used to ask him when he was comming home everyday.. im a sophomore in high school now still waiting, ive moved from place to plalce and still havent ever had a real home a place to call my own. I miss him so much.. i think of myself as selfish that i want him home for me and my mom but i dont mind, i miss him.

my dad never hit me or tried to shout because he knew my mom used to, I love my dad and I will never stop loving him, it crushes me knowing that when is older I will be the parent and he will be Grandpa, I am 14 years old he lives somewhere else now, I am so alone right now but I know he'll be back :'(

This song just made me cry, i wish wish - wish - wish i had a Dad. am 24 yrs and dad left when i was 3mnths. u may never know how it feels until u walk to college with no one to cheer u up, especially here that am in the USA from Africa and no relative around.
