Daniella & Ian at The Ark, Ann Arbor, MI - Open Stage

My friend Ian and I worked on two pieces for Open Stage at The Ark on Wednesday, August 18, 2010. It was my first time at The Ark. Ian is an amazing pianist who graciously aloud me to share the stage with him. I've alwaysed loved In a Sentimental Mood (Duke Ellington/Coltrane version) thanks to Love Jones. When I met Ian I didn't even know there were words to the song! Funny Valentine is a favorite of mine thanks to Chaka Khan, who my dear friend doesn't know! :) So I guess we are even on the playing field and hopefully bringing together our influences will bring joy to anyone we encounter.
