It progresses into a free-style sequence after awhile. You first learn the pattern, then you break from that pattern. It's the same when doing Lock & Block.

How is this "free flow"? It looks like they are striking, blocking and parrying in the exact same repeated sequences.

That is Gary Sadler from the Midwest, I was there during the filming of this and have the original vhs tapes which is better than the DVD because the DVD is missing stuff.

Great to see Master Tacosa in action. I remember seeing him (or rather, not seeing him) in the mid 90's at a Vallejo seminar. Who is the other fellow in the video? Is that Brian?

Hi Jimmy..A lot of people do not know that you were around the greats of Stockton and trained with them all. I for one am happy to see the art displayed by one of the best. I feel that their shoes are hard filled by us mere mortals, but the art is at least continued by a few like yourself ,who are more than capable of bringing the FMA to an even higher level. With respect a long time fan..Master Ron Saturno
