my copy of the slayer album show no mercy has minor warpage but its nothing serious
-
That's a minor warp, nothing serious there
-
your so lucky you found a dio record

This warp is not too big, so I think it will not damage your needle too fast. What you can try is to flattern your record. If you live in a sunny place, you can leave your record outside between 2 pieces of glass for several hours. There are some other methods, including using the hairdrier :) But all these methods can totally destroy your record, so be carefull. Also you can try to fix your record on a record-flattering machine ( there is one from ClearAudio, costs about 2000$ )

As long as it tracks good, and doesn't "jump", you should be all right. Make sure the tonearm or the bottom of your cartridge isn't bottoming out on the warped spot. That warp didn't look too bad.

It's fine for you stylus, It's not going to damage anything.
-
yes its bad for the stylus beacuase when the record goes round when it gets to the warped bit it presses hard on the needle
-
RONNIE JAMES DIO!!!!
-
its worse for the record
One of my records has a terrible warp, but I have no problems playing it. Is this bad for the stylus?
(Sorry for the bad video quality...)
