Ruger 10/22 vs. ZombieIndustries.com Zombie. Too bad the video guy didn't film the entire shoot... we shot over 1800 rounds of .22LR into this zombie and then our thumbs hurt too much to keep reloading! If you're shooting a .22LR at the Zombies, you can shoot them over 2000 times EASY!!!

.22's are lethal. The people down there talking about deer getting away after getting shot with a .22 apparently don't live in Hickville like I do. I know people who have hit deer with 12 gauge slugs and they get still away. It's all about the shooter, not the cartridge. Provided the appropriate range is taken into consideration for the given round, of course

u guys do realize in a world of zombies theres no Gun law magazine limits n .22 they do make 150 mags n if you have a fast trigger finger or ur good at bump firing it'll have a really good burst rate. ppl hunt with .22's up to 200 yards killing coyotes.

theres even a video on youtube of someone recording the History channeling showing a .22 shooting a skull n it penetrated both sides.

no laws in zombie land which means Modifications galore!! .22 ammo is sold EVERYWHERE!

Any bullet caliber given time can kill you, Don't think so little of the .22 it usually doesn't quite have the force to make a exit wound so it will bounce around inside the body possibly rupturing several organs. It's also dead on accurate and cheap

@Persian1609 I don't want to be that close to a zombie. If I do have to get that close to a zombie, I'd rather be using something that will impart more damage and more force than a .22lr. I'd much rather use a pistol caliber with an expanding bullet instead of having to rely on several rounds of .22lr to do the same job.

@gascat100 I'm not saying they arn't lethal. I sure as heck wouldn't want to get hit by one. But the .22lr is not the best thing to pierce a skull. lead generally will splatter when it hits a hard surface since it is so soft and especially when it is traveling that fast. Poachers use them to take deer but lots of deer get away after being hit by .22lr. Most of those poachers use it because it is quieter and the neighbors will think less about it than a .30 same reason "hitmen" use it

This would be a great gun to use, but in a zombie apocolypse, I would stick to melees and guns with silencers.
