Figured out what happened. Buying something then trying to multiply resell it sells it for the 'sells for' price shown in the list. But it also changes the 'buy for' price to that same thing, so it makes it cheaper to buy.

It worked for me once, selling the blood dragon plate armor repeatedly I got up to 200g or so. Then I reverted to an earlier save, as the position I was in was untenable. My blood dragon plate was gone, when I had had it at the time I'd made that save, and whenever I tried to do the sell two buy one trick, prices on things would change after at most two tries. The Havard's Aegis that originally sold for 1.5g or so changed to 72s.

Guys there is a quicker way but can only get a maximum of 80 gold but its no where near as repetitive. In the quest Asunder just pause the game and then make each one of your character click on the alter AT THE SAME TIME and then take the 20 gold from the demon each time.... 80 gold in the bag!

@Clone284 i saw that if you try it with even more expensive items you can get about 100gold every time you complete one selling and buying

i think its the only cheat anyone could use rather than easy xp and staff like that, we all sometime where in the position of a terrible need of money...i now own about 2000 gold, thank you clone 284, although i still dont like you accent
