US lawmakers are going after China and accusing the country of manipulating currency. A bill recently cleared a hurdle in the Senate to impose tariffs on Chinese imports. @glazierEd Doesn't matter jobs don't go to China they'll go to Vietnam and then Brazil and so forth. The only way for the US to compete is to downgrade ourselves to the point where were making the same amount as the 3rd world nations which will NEVER happen. Our only chance is in IT jobs etc that cant be sent over seas as easily but either way get used to foreign products that line our shelves cause theres always someone that will do it cheaper and the businesses will always be greedy

A trade war only hurts the country selling the product. The Chinese don't import our products. The U.S. has a duty to its corporations as well as its citizens to protect our jobs. It's about goddamn time.

Wow, just deregulate our economy and the jobs overseas will come back. I mean why do you think American businesses exported their jobs in the 1st place? Because China had less regulations on their businesses. Putting tariffs on Chinese imports is the stupidest idea I've ever heard, not only will it undermine our foreign policy w/ China, but it will make it goods that come from China unnecessarily more expensive.

The U.S is doing this to put China in its place But the reality is China will surpass the U.S in all feilds by 2020. The SCO will be just as stong as NATO by 2020
